Innocent acts that can get you into trouble

We know the summer is already gone and all that but it won't do any harm to read these laws and keep them handy so you don't fall short of them when you travel to these countries.

In Thailand, you must pay a fine of $600 if you're caught throwing away chewed bubble gum on the sidewalk. To all you gum chewers, this could be a spoiler for you as we can't imagine how much will be left on your travel budget if you part ways with 600 bucks for throwing chewed gum on the sidewalk.

You wouldn't want to hang your clothes to dry on Sundays or flush The toilet after 10 P.M if you are in Switzerland. The Swiss won't take that kindly with you as it's against the law and might land you in jail. In case you are asking why, we are equally ignorant as you are and can't answer the question.

In Germany, you are running foul of the law if you run out of gas on an highway. It is absolutely illegal. So when next you travel to Deutsch-land, gas up your automobile before rolling out on the highway. You don't want to go against the law in Germany!

In the Philippines, cars whose license plates end with a 1 or 2 are not allowed on the roads on Monday, 3 or 4 on Tuesday, 5 or 6 on Wednesday, 7 or 8 on Thursday, and 9 or 0 on Friday. Now this is really, really weird! How do car owners survive there!

You will be running foul of the law in Scotland if you're drunk and in possession of a cow. It's downright illegal and could fetch you a jail term. But wait, what if the cow was a present that came along with the liquor and your benefactor insists on a drink? If also in England, you find yourself pressed and need to take a leak really fast, here's what to do. Piss on the rear wheel of your vehicle but make sure your right hand stays on the vehicle at all times It's perfectly legal if you do it this way but you might not want to try it in front of the Buckingham Palace. The Palace guards might frown at it and you could have lots of explaining to do.

We wish you a happy time in all your travels. Stay out of trouble.
